King West has changed more in the last decade than almost any other part of downtown Toronto. Parking lots and low-rise warehouses along King, Richmond, Wellington and Front have given way to some of the city’s most talked-about condo projects, and more are still on the way.

Why developers keep choosing King West

King West sits between the Financial District and Liberty Village, with the 504 King streetcar, the Gardiner and Union Station all close by. It has some of the city’s best restaurants and nightlife, heritage loft buildings next to brand-new towers, and steady demand from buyers and renters who want to walk to work. That mix is why new projects keep coming and why well-located suites here tend to hold their value.
