Fronting on Shank St, Crawford St and Adelaide St W – these sophisticated townhomes do not become available very often so it’s make sure you move quickly when they do. Steps to King St W and the 24hr streetcar line.
Part of the same complex as 954 King St W Lofts (Toronto Standard Condo Corporation 1334) and completed in 2001 by Urbancorp, the Shank St Townhomes are of a very similar style to the townhomes King West Condo buyers would find at 12 Sudbury St townhomes. They generally consist of a lower unit, a main floor unit and an upper 3-storey unit with a roof-top terrace.
The north-side of the townhomes face 954 King Lofts and have the added benefit of sharing their amenities and underground parking facilities.
Built in 1999 by Argon Developments, the Town Villas at Massey Commons are an excellent King West Condo townhouse option. Situated just off King Street West between Massey Street and Strachan Avenue, Town Villas at Massey Common is a tree-lined community of redbrick townhomes with 54 units with layouts ranging from two bed plus den to full three bedroom layouts. These are generally considered larger than many of the stacked townhomes in the area.
Buyers will find bright and spacious living and dining room areas, large bedrooms, separate kitchens with gas stovetops, plus outdoor space from Juliet balconies to backyards. Town Villas at Massey Common have low maintenance fees in exchange for few building amenities. Parking facilities generally consist of private attached garages.
Part of the same condo complex as Massey Square – 1000 King St W (TSCC 1457), the 39 Shank Townhomes are an interesting marriage between townhouse and condo. The ground floor units are two storeys with fantastic front garden terraces. The upper units are accessed from a common front entrance where an elevator is taken up to the 2nd floor hallways for suite entrance (hence the condo similarities).
The 39 Shank Townhomes benefits from the use of 1000 King St W‘s building amenities and also shares an underground parking lot which is accessed via 39 Shank’s elevator.
1000 King St W and 39 Shank are known for some of the lowest maintenance fees in the area.
Part of the famous Summit Condo complex just south of King St W (701 King St W, 705 King St W, & 725 King St W), the King West Condo townhomes line the streets of Wellington and Tecumseth St around the Summit towers.
