Introducing Saana Yoga – King West’s Newest Fitness Alternative

Feb 20

King West is no stranger to amazing fitness studios and healthy lifestyle opportunities. Saana Yoga recently opened in the neighbourhood and has attracted a fair share of attention.

Formerly known as Moksha, Saana Yoga at 577 Wellington St W, is the home to several membership packages, an absolutely stunning hot yoga class, and maintains a focus on promoting personal growth and environmental sustainability.

Saana Yoga came together as a collaboration between yoga teachers and studio owners across Toronto with more than fifteen years of experience. Saana brings together three unique studios, each individual and unique and yet, all tied together in the same spirit. If you’re looking to give Saana Yoga in King West a try, the studio has a special for the first month valued at $60 which comes with 30 days of unlimited yoga classes. Should you decide you like it, membership costs start at $115 per month.

Want to pay per class? No problem! Long-term membership options vary from a one-time drop-in for $25 to a drop-in with rentals for $30, a 5-class card for $110, and a 10-class card for $200.

Saana Yoga was founded by yoga teachers Jackie Szabo and Jacqueline DiRenzo, two former franchise owners in one of the world’s most successful yoga brands. Seeking new explorations, they chose to form their own company together and steer it towards a new direction. Prioritizing environmental intelligence and building a conscious community. Saana Yoga goes beyond what happens in the studio and seeks to engage the mind, body, and spirit in the most healing of ways.

A great feature of King West’s Saana Yoga is the King West Wellness Centre. They’ve partnered with a certified doctor of naturopathic medicine, a registered massage therapist, a cranosacral therapist, and more. If you want to get physically healthy with the yoga but without a lot of the other wellness components, you can do that, sure. With that said, a lot of King West residents have come into Saana Yoga seeking the whole package with access to these professionals and others on-hand to improve overall wellness.

There are certainly other yoga studios in Toronto’s west end but walking into Saana Yoga, you’ll notice a slightly different vibe than what you’ll find elsewhere. There’s definitely something unique happening here. If you’re looking for a place to grow and find yourself, there’s a lot of services to explore here and a lot of self-discovery ahead for anyone who is open. Visit Saana Yoga today for more information on one of King West’s newest alternatives.
