Luxury condos in Toronto are nothing new. Over the years, we’ve all seen clusters of condo developments in King West being built. King West is definitely a one-of-a-kind community. When browsing luxury condos on King West, one will find many unique design features, different layouts, specialty services, and a long list of amenities that make this a place of convenience for anyone fortunate enough to call it home.

Nobu Residences Toronto is built with the Nobu brand name, one of the world’s most recognized high-class Japanese restaurants. With around 25 locations worldwide, Nobu is considered an exclusive, high-end brand that only the affluent have the opportunity to enjoy. Located at 15-35 Mercer Street, the luxury condo development will not only include permanent residential units but will also feature a hotel and restaurant. The first ever Canadian location for Nobu will be known as ‘Nobu Residences, Hotel and Restaurant Toronto’.

Nobu Residences Toronto will have a seemingly endless list of amenities, including a fitness club with a spin & yoga studio, a massage room, a sauna and steam room, conference centre, screening room, and a private dining space. And of course, be able to enjoy Japanese food from the 15,000 sq. ft. restaurant portion of the property and then move on up to your luxury condo to enjoy an exquisite view of the city. The Madison Group, Westdale Properties, and Nobu Hospitality are among the groups behind this project which was announced early last year.

When completed, this condo development is going to re-brand Mercer Street within the modern context of Toronto’s Entertainment District. There will be spaces for private social functions, ground floor commercial retail, and even an outdoor terrace. For those that are unfamiliar with ‘Nobu’, in the last decade, it’s become known as a highly popular luxury hospitality brand spearheaded by prominent investors and partners including Robert De Niro. Though few details are known about what Nobu Residences will look like when finished, it promises to be a truly spectacular addition to the King West neighborhood – if the pictures communicate anything. Nobu Residences, Hotel and Restaurant Toronto will include approximately 700 units in two 49-storey towers. Inside, see historical pieces from the Pilkington Glass Factory and more!

King West’s Mercer St has long been an under-utilized street mostly housing restaurants and bars till now. Situated amongst King West’s Entertainment District, Blue Jays Way and John Street  – Mercer St really is in the heart of it all. The luxurious floor plans, celebration of craftsmanship, and sophisticated lifestyles that Nobu Residences are sure to contain will further add value to the growing collection of residential spaces in the community.

As Toronto’s King West continues to grow, it is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after neighborhoods for luxury condo units. With cinematic views of the CN Tower, Lake Ontario, Toronto Island, and the Financial District, Nobu Residences Toronto is bound to be an exquisite representation of luxury Toronto living in the years to come.
